Bernie Sanders has won the New Hampshire primary.
Pete Buttigieg finished second.
Amy Klobuchar came in third.

Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren are not on pace to win any delegates. None. Zero. Zilch!
Apparently the big story on @MSNBC tonight is that Bernie Sanders lost big in New Hampshire to Buttigieg/Klobuchar combined.

Just 1 in 4 Democratic voters pulled the lever for Bernie in New Hampshire today. That's pretty much the MSM story and they are sticking by it. It's a fact.
@MSNBC The only thing missing at this point is some MSM news outlet issuing a great big Thank You to Bernie Sanders for having decided to gracefully drop out of the race by tomorrow morning due to overwhelming opposition from 3 in 4 Democratic voters in his neighboring New Hampshire.

1. Capitalism vs Socialism

Now that you put it that way,
-- Capitalism sounds so greedy and crass
-- Socialism sounds so good and noble

In practice, Capitalism leads to the greatest good for the largest number of people, Socialism leads to tyranny and untold misery for most.
2. On first blush it appears counter-intuitive. Upon reflection, it is perfectly foreseeable as to why. We are hostage to emotive words. Profit motive is perhaps the most maligned and misunderstood phrase in the English language, whereas fairness is perhaps the most exalted.
3. But it is the profit motive, not fairness, that makes people get out of bed early, kiss goodbye to their loved ones, and go out there and bust their behinds to produce something that others will find valuable enough to pay more for than it costs the business owners to produce.

We're at 85% townships reporting. These voterflow *estimates* get produced as part of the model that I run. This is not an exact measure, it's a mathematically consistent solution to a set of simultaneous equations.
What this suggests is that Bernie Sanders retained approximately 60% of his 2016 vote. With a significant portion going to Elizabeth Warren (18%) and some going to Pete Buttigieg (10%) and Amy Klobuchar (5%).
Hillary Clinton's voters were split among a number of different candidates, with Klobuchar getting the lion share (35%) and a lot also going to Buttigieg (22%). Some of her vote also went to Biden (15%), Warren (10%) and Sanders (9%).

#Biden & #Bernie continue to plummet. I wrote last month that #Buttigieg was the natural inheritor of voters divesting of Biden. #Warren is the natural inheritor of the left vote. #Harris, still the most charismatic candidate, has now tripled her Iowa standing since June.
This is the Democratic field. The debates both winnowed the field and reshuffled the deck. Despite massive help from MSM that included two full hours on Chris Cuomo in prime time, much spent attacking Harris and progressives, Biden fails to move his campaign forward.
Sanders has released a couple of videos vomosring himself to FDR, who was president when Sanders was born in 1941. Both Biden and Bernie focusing on the past while Harris and Warren roll out forward-thinking policy almost daily.

This is why the polls are shaking out as they are.
