#thread: This is what I think happened that led to the eight travelling companions of a #WuhanCoronavirus patient in #Singapore leaving the city state without quarintine, and subsequently entering neighbouring #Malaysia. 3/8 now confirmed patients and are in a Selangor hospital.
The #Singapore patient is a 66-year-old PRC national who on Thursday (Jan 23) was named SGP's first Wuhan virus patient. (PATIENT 1).
Singapore media on Friday (Jan 24) reported that 24 out of 46 people who had come in close contact with Patient 1, including these eight travelling companions (TRAVEL PARTY), "left Singapore before his case was confirmed".
