People are wondering why Kenney is attacking doctors. He’s not. He’s attacking Public Health Care.

The intent is to allow doctors to charge what they want in a two tiered system.

They will collect the reduced fees from public sphere, but have the ability to charge extra.
Still universally accessible, as long as you have the cash to access the doctor.

Those doctors unwilling to destroy universal healthcare will be free to stay entirely within AHS and make less.

Remember. Kenney only promised universal accessibility, NOT universal healthcare.
The caveat being money makes accessibility much faster for those who can pay.

The introduction of a two tiered healthcare model is the intent.

Kenney is now moving to eliminate dissent.

I warned about this before & after the election, after the budget & several times since.

Enactment of this law will make protesting UCP govt & it’s policies illegal.

This is NOT about the pipeline infrastructure & rail lines.
It’s about freedom of association and freedom to dissent and protest.

Kenney is informing the public of his intention to remove a Canadian right and freedom from Albertans.

This is significant & urgent🔥. Please pay attention to threat of removal of your rights & freedoms.
Two human rights have already been rolled back in Alberta. Barely a ripple of discontent.

*Youth are now second class workers.

*LGBTQ youth privacy rights can be breached; children can be outed to their parents.

Those rights were removed. They’re gone.

Both types of libertarians seek anarchy from federal government in favour of local control mechanisms.

PR doesn’t add more democracy. It’s closer to direct democracy. NDP know they can never win a federal election. But with PR they could gain a significant amount of power to implement their agenda.

They envision taking over the voter base of Liberals who are left of centre. Using populist rhetoric and unachievable promises of poverty relief.

PR would assist both far left & far right to nullify centrist voters.

Through the action of Confederation, boundaries were drawn on a map and indigenous land title was extinguished. Delgamuukw Decision ruled that title was never actually extinguished because indigenous in BC weren’t conquered & did not cede title.

Land title was never extinguished in BC.

Confederation “legally” transferred land title to the crown and they divided up the land and sold it.

British Columbians are squatters on indigenous land.

If we are going to get out of the messes we are in, I believe we have to start with a more accurate image of ourselves and the world of which we are a part. A thread about #system boundaries, abortion bans, climate change, gun safety, and more.
We each are flows, more like flames or whirlpools than rocks or billiard balls, in constant exchange with the 'environment. Your 'boundaries' are so much more fluid than everyday perception (in this western industrial growth society at least) suggests.
I mean this literally - not metaphorically. What was 'not you' moments before you drank a glass of water now is 'you.'
