Of additional concern. It’s warming in Italy now, and novel #coronavirus is still breaking out there. Coronas usually don’t transfer in the spring and summer months. But this one seems to be behaving differently, probably in part because it’s so novel (we have no cross immunity). 
Part of influence of temperature on spread is related to viral characteristics like how droplets transfer, but part of it can be related to epidemiology of disease — as temperatures warm, people are outside more, not confined as much in close contact.
Seoul is cooler.
As is Tehran.

Singapore, by contrast, seems to be on a path toward controlling their outbreak. And it’s very warm there. It remains unclear what role (if any) environment has played in their success vs. Singapore’s very robust response to their outbreak and a skilled public health system.
