Nothing shows how much more we value money and our economic system more than people like story after story about how deaths during an epidemic are interrupting supply chains and causing market drops.
Meanwhile, we're not talking about the fact that top-down economics means that people are going to go to work sick because they can't risk losing their jobs and it's going to lead to more and more infections and deaths.
But sure. Keep talking about logistical interruptions. And keep lying about the size of the problem because you don't want to spook the market.

The truth is, these people don't care about humans. They care about numbers. Period. End of story. And they should be ashamed.
