Just an FYI. This isn't financial advice and shouldn't be considered as such but the stock market is crazy atm. I have a 401k that I'm not touching and staying long. Still up bigly since the election. I had my IRA in cash and just went long with high paying dividend stocks
....like Exxon Mobil

Check out some of the dividend yields of companies that have a long history of not cutting dividends due to the current prices. This is a good starter article on dividends

Utilities are another industry with good dividends but their growth potential is limited to some degree. Still, I bought some for it's security today.
To round out my actions I've updated my short term stock trading account, where I'm long a medical stock and am preparing to start trading options and adding cash to that account.

Like I said, this isn't financial advice just a thread explaining my moves. Since I've been...
...talking about the market lately, I don't want it to appear that I'm trying to capitalize off of any tweets.

Also in this time of panic in the market, I thought I'll give some options to people for some who are looking for some "security". As has been seen in the last ....
....week the market can change quickly and any "advice" anyone gives can be obsolete within minutes. The best advice I've always found is use your own mind, do your own research, discover your own level of risk and never invest any money that you can't afford to lose.
