Please listen to Sarah Kendzior’s description of a typical paranoid autocrat.
Now apply that description to Jason Kenny.

Conspiracy theories (Tides theory)

Lies (pick one of hundreds)

Paranoid delusions ($30M/year Canadian Energy Centre)
Key to maintaining autocratic power.

Buy-in for the delusion. Population builds on the delusion. Feeds on it. Runs with it.

It’s a movement.
Now use this lens of how an autocrat works, and view Wet’suwet’en and the subsequent national protest.

*Conspiracy to derail the pipeline by environmentalists and foreign actors

*Lies about what the core issue is (section 35 rights violations, not climate or the pipeline).
*Paranoid delusions spawned by Kenney’s toxic rhetoric including indigenous people are terrorists holding Canada hostage and destroying the Canadian economy.

Result:

1. Increase in hate propaganda towards indigenous people by con supporters.

2. Increase in vigilantism.
Kenney and many Canadian con politicians are autocrats fomenting division of the Canadian public. Using indigenous frustrations over repeated violations of section 35 treaty and land rights as a weapon.

With complete disregard on the impact this has to all indigenous people.
Using this incident to smear PM Trudeau and LPC and damage their reputation & character. The attempt is to weaken support for Liberal party and assassinate the character of PM Trudeau.

With little regard for the economic impact on Canadians or to the safety of indigenous people.
It turns out, the new owners of the pipeline (KKR & AIMCo) immediately sought a new injunction (December 31, 2019) within 5 days of acquiring their new asset (December 26, 2019).

The injunction was made public (served) January 7, 2020. Wet’suwet’en appealed to BC govt.
By February 7, 2020, talks between hereditary chiefs and B.C. govt had broken down & a cooling off period began.

RCMP swooped in and immediately enforced the injunction in the middle of the night. Sparking a national outcry and spawning several protest sites across the nation.
Since this is entirely within BC borders, it’s provincial purview. Meaning feds cant get involved without being invited to the table. But if it’s just hereditary chiefs making the request, to respond immediately would demonstrate bias.
Who created this crisis? Whose interests are being advanced by the protests? It certainly isn’t indigenous interests. Open racism is at an all time high in Canada. If anything, this crisis hurts reconciliation efforts, not helps it.

So who benefits?
Industry. Just the “innocent” corporations trying to build the pipeline that no one forgets to mention 20 band chiefs have approved. Poor investors are being stopped from improving the lives of BC FN who overwhelmingly want a pipeline & a minor share of the trillions in profits.
UCP. Kenney hasn’t stopped tweeting & speaking daily since Feb 7 about Wet’suwet’en and his disdain for PM Trudeau’s reluctance to demonstrate bias for any party involved. It’s an attack on prosperity and he takes it personally.
Kenney has demanded an immediate clampdown on protestors. He even benefitted from Faith Goldie’s Wexit buddies recording themselves dismantling an Edmonton blockade. While police watched.

Then used it to introduce legislation to remove the right to protest. Convenient.
Scheer. He has reprised his role as national conservative thorn to PM Trudeau’s existence. “See Stephen, I really am a bad ass rabble rouser capable of daily attacks on the character of PM and his preference for non violent resolution” says the outgoing failed hopeful daily.
MacKay, O’Toole, and every other conservative leadership hopeful gets daily coverage of their personal attacks on PM’s character. It’s an echo chamber of not only the interim leader, but the 6 candidates for leadership. Plus MP’s and their staff, and con premiers, & their staff.
But cons aren’t the only narrative being heard right now.

NDP. Also benefitting by echoing the same criticisms of PM Trudeau and LPC.

No one seems to notice the BC provincial government is also NDP.
Singh and several NDP MP’s are running defense for Horgan. Who seems to be escaping unscathed by this crisis. Even though Singh has publicly applauded and given his blessing for LNG previously. Then conveniently changed his mind a few times. Which all seem to have forgotten.
That’s who is benefitting from this crisis.

We have another crisis created by those seeking to remove PM Trudeau and LPC from power. And partners reaping political bonus points to gain or maintain their loyal following.

It’s SNC 2.0.

Or rather CGL fiasco.
That’s how autocrats gain & maintain power.

That’s how people’s safety is put in peril for despots.

That’s who is running Alberta.

That’s who wants to seize power of federal government.

And industry is helping them to reap enormous profits at Canadian’s and FN’s expense.
Wake up Canada.

Learn how to recognize a real conspiracy.
In case you were wondering if UCP is behind Wexit? They wouldn’t offer it as an option if they didn’t consider it an option.

Kenney the devoted Federalist indeed. What a fricking liar.
