In my culture, all individuals have wisdom. But the mere fact I’ve been on earth for 52 years lends some weight to the wisdom I’ve gained.

Certainly I don’t expect deference for achieving my age. There are many older than me with much less wisdom, & several younger who’s wisdom I’ve been educated by.
But lack of decorum & basic respect is intolerable.
