Bernie's new dilemma:

the dem establishment is organized in a way the GOP establishment wasn't in 2016. A few phone calls from Obama and a promise of cabinet positions and Amy & Pete drop and endorse Biden, media fawns for 2 days, and the race completely changes... (1/3)
Here's what Bernie has to do:

1- expose Biden's record & be aggressive.

2- tell voters the highly organized effort to take you down is because you represent the will of the people not the corporate donors.

3- stress that Biden is the extremist, not you. You're the moderate.
4- keep hammering electability and how Biden would lose to Trump.

They did well with narrative control, now we have to. Despite the feeling you have the delegate situation will be about tied, or Bernie with a slight lead when all the votes are counted. It's a new race now.

For Warren to admit her only move is to take the nomination at a brokered convention is just sad. Even in her absolute dream scenario (which won't happen), the dem party is completely fractured and she loses to Trump. How's that for a legacy.
The idea that voters would be cool with somebody who perpetually came in 4th or 5th casually becoming the nominee is hilarious. It's so beyond arrogant that we need to invent a new word for it.
Imagine sending out that pathetic email to your supporters basically saying like heyyyy I'm gonna try to overthrow the will of the voters at the convention. Wanna donate $5??

So a guy working hard for the Bernie campaign had a PRIVATE account where he made jokes about the other candidates and shitposts, the media digs it up, writes a faux-outrage article on it, and the dude gets fired. I hate this shit. I feel terrible for Ben. The left needs a spine.
Bad faith smear merchants are unappeasable. You give them an inch, they'll take a foot. You validate their witch hunt by taking them seriously. They'll never give you credit or stop. They simply don't like you, this is divide and conquer. Brush them off and move on. Nobody cares.
Imagine the media digging up the personal accounts of Warren or Pete supporters & forcing the campaign to fire them? Policing jokes of staffers is clearly bad faith, it's stunning & reeks of desperation. It's also the living embodiment of the RW caricature of the snowflake left.

In other words, Donald Trump is waiting for the Khashoggi-murdering, Yemeni baby-genociding Crown Prince MBS (who is also the Saudi Defense Minister) to tell the American Commander in Chief what to do? Trump knows all this is BS. But if fits perfectly into Israel's Iran plans.
