What do festivals look for from artist applications? Be someone the @bbcintroducing teams are already a fan of. Listen to the @bbcintroducing shows and hear what’s working. At the moment, they’ve been told to look for avant garde set-ups.
If you are a solo artist but also have a band, be upfront when you pitch. State that you have different set-ups. Think about how to make an impact; it might be better to drop yourself in solo and build up.
