It's galling enough that Trump keeps lying about coronavirus. But it's now falling on Dems to inform the public by correcting his lies. Worse, Trump keeps telling Americans not to believe what Dems are telling them, compounding the gaslighting. New piece:

Trump keeps whining that Dem criticism on coronavirus is only about hurting *him.* But Trump and Rs are set to *accept* the larger funding package Dems insisted on. This confirms the Dem criticism is *working in the public interest.*

Maddening:

By claiming a "hunch" that death rates are lower than official stats say, Trump is making it harder for *his own health officials* to manage the response.

Dems are trying to get facts out, but Trump is telling Americans not to believe them!

New Quinnipiac poll:

By 56-40, Biden is seen as better than Trump in a crisis.

Among independents, that's 59-33 (!)

Among women, that's 63-32 (!!!)

The poll is simply awful for Trump. Turns out he doesn't have magical chaos-spreading powers, after all:

Trump's constant claim that everything on his watch is stupendously wonderful is a deeply ingrained pathology. We see it on multiple fronts.

1- Contarian view thread.

#CoronaVirus is a political boon for Trump (cont).
2- There is no way #CoronaVirus will be as bad current Media hysteria would lead us to believe. More here..👇🏼

3- When #CoronaVirus settles down in a few weeks (warmer weather, vaccines & treatments coming avaiable, etc.), Trump can claim a bigger victory than he probably deserves.

Just like with net neutrality, leaving the Paris Climate accord, etc.; we will have somehow survived.
