I confronted @SenSchumer before for imposing his view on judges. He cannot bully the Supreme Court. I told Schumer then, “Senate's duty [on judges] does not lie with public opinion polls, professors' theories, or interest groups.”
Their only duty is to the Constitution. @SenSchumer backed down, but he’s back to his radical views.
Chuck Schumer’s virtually unprecedented threats are extremely dangerous. His words threaten not only Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh but our legal system itself. Condemnation is NOT enough – Schumer should be immediately censured by the Senate. These radical attacks cannot stand.
Our justice system and the very Rule of Law depend on the independence and authority of the judiciary.
