@ramana_brf (1/3). One feedback I have repeatedly receive from senior Congressional members of both parties is that Indian Americans do not publicly thank, or financially support, their elected representatives proportionate to their affluence, compared to other ethnic groups. I agree.
@ramana_brf (2/3). The reason that the Democratic Party is so favorable to the Muslim perspective, and not as much to the Hindu perspective, is precisely due to the former's better engagement, frankly since 9/11. Let's give credit where it's due.
@ramana_brf (3/3). So passively expecting elected politicians to do something for Hindu Americans merely out of their good conscience, without engaging them, is precisely how we got to this point with the Democratic Party.
@ramana_brf By the way, I am neither a registered Democrat nor a Republican. I vote, engage, and support on a bipartisan basis, and based on the needs of the communities that I serve.
