I've been wondering why the Board of #SportsAustralia never spoke up about #sportsrorts?

So, I decided to take a closer look at who's who on the Board.

It's made up of a mix of ex-Libs/Nats, mining/banking/finance/media execs, public servants & some sporty ppl

It's difficult to determine when some of these Board members were originally appointed many years ago, but all have been appointed or reappointed by Greg Hunt or Bridget McKenzie

Interestingly, Greg Hunt also sits on the Cabinet Expenditure Review Committee who oversaw & increased the funding for the Community Sports Infrastructure Grants program (CSIG) or #sportsrorts

Another interesting point -Board of #SportAustralia has a very high attrition rate - many Board members have come & gone over the years, some of them well-known sporting personalities or biz execs like Mr Mark Textor (Crosby Textor) who quit after 6 months

Now, many of these Board members are on many Boards (or have been) so they should know the responsibility that entails.

And, if they claim they didn't know what was going on with $100 million CSIG then they shouldn't be on the Board.

I notice Philip Gaetjens' #sportsrorts report refers to a singular 'Adviser's spreadsheet' created in Sept 2018.

He claims McKenzie did not see this spreadsheet. Semantics.

He doesn't say whether she saw any of the other 27 versions of the colour-coded spreadsheet.

It is inconceivable that McKenzie was oblivious to one of her staff members creating 28 versions of a spreadsheet without her knowledge.

If she was oblivious to that fact it shows a high level of incompetence on her part and suggests her rogue staff are unsupervised.

Additionally, Gaetjens claims the spreadsheet was created "as a worksheet to support an increase in funding for the Program"

This suggests the 'worksheet' was presented to Expenditure Review Committee- the committee responsible for increasing funding for #sportsrorts

1/ Genuinely thrilled to announce two new manuscripts on the bioRxiv. On this thread I'll say a it about the story and why we're so excited about it.

Both deal with the problem of SNARE-mediated vesicle fusion in the early secretory pathay.

2/ First, a bit of history. About ⅓ of the proteins encoded by our genomes enter the secretory pathway at the rough ER, where they are synthesized.

In the ER these proteins are folded, modified, inspected for quality, and packaged into vesicles bearing the COPII coat.
3/ The COPII vesicle then has to find its target membranes: in animals, the ERGIC (ER-Golgi intermediate compartment) and cis-Golgi.

The vesicle must lose some or all of its COPII coat, tether, dock, and then fuse at the target membrane.

We decided to take a closer look at the #YangGang hashtag in light of its prominent appearance in this earlier analysis (most frequently used hashtag by accounts that retweet @AndrewYang.)

We downloaded tweets containing #YangGang, removing tweets unrelated to Andrew Yang's campaign from the early data. We ended up with 28863 original tweets from 9146 accounts; the first on-topic use appears to be on March 20, 2018.
Something potentially interesting turns up when looking at the creation dates of the accounts - 1038 of 9146 (11.3%) were created within the last three months. Those accounts tweeted 5897 of 28863 #YangGang tweets (20.4%).

Couple weeks ago before the Drake concert, one of my buddies @SpenceyyB made this claim and I - probably like you - disregarded it at first.
He referenced verses like these from Scorpion. I already knew the disses were aimed at Kanye, but he claimed every girl line was about Kim. “Your wifey” felt too generic at first, and I figured Drake was referring to any man that leaves his girl long enough/for good.
