Anyway, I just wanted to be upfront with people and let you know that I’ve been dealing with some anxiety surrounding Coronavirus. If I’ve seemed a bit more in and out, it’s because I am. Anyway, I suspect I’m not alone, so I wanted to share that. I’m working to figure out ...
... the best ways of dealing with it — talking with friends (including doctors) and ~professionals~ — but for right now, things are touch and go. Sometimes I’m feeling as good as can be expected, other times, not so much at all. But, I’m getting through.
I think, as is often the case for me, working to contextualize what’s going on and doing what I can to help is going to be a big part of getting through this. It’s figuring into my work in (I think) a good and healthy way, for example.
But, another part is keeping up with people. Social distancing, in this era, needn’t make us alone. It’s actually, arguably, a misnomer! On Twitter here, we’re some of the people who know best what close friendships we can form with people we’ve never even met!
So, stay close, friends! If we’re friends, let’s chat! Text me! Call! FaceTime! So many options! ... But, yeah, that’s where I’m at. ... Off to try and chill a bit before bed. ... Night, all, and let us try to be good to one another — and ourselves.
