If someone doesn't want to be with you, there's nothing you can do. As nice and as resource enabled as God is, until I made a conscious decision to develop a relationship with him, there was nothing he could do. 
As long as people think you're an option; as long as they don't NEED you, you don't have an intimate relationship yet.
I use the word NEED deliberately. I need God. That's why I prioritise him. See ehn, if the world wants to scatter it can, but those minutes I spend everyday talking to God are essential. I depend on those conversations to shape my life. So God is woven into me. He's not an option
Those people that form busy ehn, you are an option to them, not a need. Just take it like that.
Watch how people react in the thick of really "all-consuming" projects. Look at who and what they turn to for relief. Look at who they still keep tabs with. Then, find your number on the list of their priorities.
I used to excuse people. I used to say they lack emotional bandwidth or multitasking capacity. Until, a friend pointed out to me, that during that time there were other people they were talking to, just not you.
