Look, Trump's moral and political and social depravity is no secret. But these last few weeks have made me sick to my stomach. Because I look at my grandparents who are in their 80s and if they get coronavirus, I am horrified to think what would happen. 1/

And because Trump declined the WHO tests that were ready in FEBRUARY, allowing it to spread unimpeded, they're at greater risk.

Because Trump was so focused on downplaying the threat so he could prop up the MARKETS and salvage a talking point, they're at greater risk.

Because Trump pretended that it was no worse than the flu and even told people to KEEP GOING TO WORK instead of endorsing social distancing, they're at greater risk.

Because Trump fired the experts and put fucking Mike Pence and Jared Kushner in charge, they're at greater risk.

I'm not even fucking kidding. Look at this article.

I mean, taxpayers just sent Jared Kushner to do a semester online so he could solve the pandemic.

So now I'm here worrying that my 85-year-old grandpa might touch a contaminated surface - a doorknob, a light switch, a menu - and then touch his face.

I'm here worrying because our government is so fucking inept that a problem that could've been MITIGATED has been EXACERBATED.

The thought that my grandparents' lives rely upon DONALD TRUMP having to - for one second - be COMPETENT fills me with more anxiety and dread and fury than I can even put into words.

I cannot, cannot wait until that man is nothing more than an asterisk in this nation's history.
