We have the unique opportunity to see 2-3 weeks into our future through Italy and other countries. We are just beginning our exponential growth curve now. Now is the time to implement these things, not 2 weeks from now. Italy has the second best healthcare system in the world. /2
Canada is #30. Now is not the time for subtlety - we won't last as long as they have. That doesn't mean we panic and buy all the toilet paper. It means self-isolate, work from home, don't go out to dinner or a club or social gatherings. /3
It means understand that if the healthcare system goes down, we all go down. So let's start looking at this not from the perspective of what we might lose in the short-term, but what we gain in the long-term: each time you choose to not shake someone's hand, you just saved lives
Each time you choose to order take-out instead of dine-in (thus still supporting your local businesses), you save lives. Each time you decide to go for a walk on the beach instead of go to the mall, you save lives. Buy things online instead of going to the store in person. /5
Video conference instead of having an in-person meeting. FaceTime instead of in-person visit. These things save many, many future lives. Today, we have the chance to live every nerds dream - receive a message from our future and use it to save the world. /6
