If you're wondering whether China paid U.S. media to spread its coronavirus propaganda, the sad truth is that it didn't have to. The ChiComs are keen students of U.S. media and political culture. They knew the virtue-signalers would jump at the chance to be useful idiots.
At first it was the pure rush of being able to howl that anyone who says the virus is from China or Wuhan is "racist." The Chinese no more needed to pay for that service than they would need to pay piranha to attack a side of beef.
And now the second order of useful idiocy begins: the chance for media and lefty politicians to begin speculating that only deplorable racist red-hat-wearing Neanderthals care where the virus came from, and they only care because ORANGEMANBAD called it the "Chinese virus."
