Many Dems have proposed monthly UBI in perpetuity, rather than a one-time payment, for example. And although Pelosi blinked on paid sick leave to avoid a protracted battle in the Senate, including it *at all* was their idea. As was food assistance and UE extension.
It's true that a sharp financial crisis is driving Repubs to support things they wouldn't otherwise.
But to claim Trump's one-time $1000 check and 2-month freeze on FHA loans is left of what Dems have proposed is just silly. And to trust he'll follow through is even sillier.
