Message for those daring to complain that teachers are getting longer holidays.

This week I have witnessed at first hand the incredible dedication and professionalism of teachers. 2/5
Daily they deliberately put themselves at risk by hanging out with 30 or more superspreaders, despite many of them having elderly dependents. 3/5
Many will continue to work despite the risks because they wish to protect children for whom the only safe place. And other children where school is the only place they get a hot meal. 4/5
So frankly, and I apologise for my language as I don’t say this often, but you and your pathetic whinging negativity can actually fuck right off.

This evening I was sexually assaulted. I’m slightly in shock. I am still processing it, but I am already at the stage where I REALLY want all my male friends to read this carefully. I've had a tricky week but this was extraordinary.

I’m standing at the bar waiting to be served, a (male) stranger walks past, squeezes my backside & says ‘nice buns’. I am a bit stunned. The best I could manage on the spot was to turn round and say “Excuse me?” in my best teacher voice. “Nice Buns” was the repeated reply.

“They’re my buns, not yours” I said. Not great, I know, but still too shocked to come up with anything better.

He leaves the pub. I assumed (wrongly) that he had gone for good. Turns out he was just going out for a smoke. But the interesting thing is that I didn’t follow.

Sleep deprivation. Stress. Mood. Diet. all are interdependent.

⬆️ calories food are more rewarding. Higher added sugar/saturated fat/salt = comforting. Also impairs sleep. Weight gain --> sleep apnea.
Sleep deprivation --> want to eat more even when not hungry
On Food, hydration & performance:
Dehydrated pilots have poor flight performance.
Soccer referees make poor judgment when dehydrated.
Physicians who are dehydrated have impaired short term memory.

HANGRY is real.

Interesting response by a loyal Green Party member. Blocks me because I made May’s accusation of the bureaucracy’s ideological drift towards corporate interests much clearer how it’s been set up.
Another Harper post 2015 “gift” and huge pain in the behind for any government unlucky enough to come after them, CPC spent 10 years gutting bureaucrats loyal to Canadians and replacing them with bureaucrats loyal to him and CPC agenda.
I happen to be one of those bureaucrats.

Full disclosure.

There is a bias I have towards Harper. Forced from a job I loved to watch corrupt miscreants replace not only me, but dozens of staff who were there to improve peoples lives.

There’s a reason I know how he works.

1/12- Empathy... all of your coworkers probably feel, to some degree, that their work is not fully valued and understood. Only one of your coworkers actually has *lots* of power...the CEO, and even she reports to a board.
2/12- Realize that often efforts to "get a seat at the table" without closer collaboration actually makes the problem worse. We all imagine we will be *more responsible* once we get "power". And then realize we were solving the wrong problem.

Well I have witnessed discrimination first hand this week! A friend of mine was illegally evicted from public housing. He really can't read is disabled and a veteran! The head of housing has been harassing him since 2016 when she took over! She recently took him to court
for "failure to pay rent" . She told the court he owed over $900 and that he has not paid any rent! Well we went thru all of his paperwork and as of 2015 he had a $0 balance December 31. The rent started to climb as if he was being charged double rent! This is in 2016.
Fast forward to last month and he's served eviction papers! We turned in a complaint to HUD and normally it's sent to Atlanta this time it was sent to Memphis! Memphis does not cover east Tennessee! We were able to get him a month or two. Tuesday he was served a notice

As I tweeted yesterday, I have gone on various social media groups to get honest feedback from black Democrats/Independents on why the message of the black conservative establishment is not resonating with them. They did not disappoint.

If you follow me, you are probably already aware of my desire to see better conservative outreach to the black community. In order to do that, we must understand why blacks are not choosing to support conservative candidates instead of just listening to what our media tells us.
While I do not agree with all of these statements, intellectual honesty will acknowledge that there is much truth to most of them. Some of their perceptions are faulty, but I can also see why they come to their conclusions. The conservative mainstream won't tell you any of this.
