1. Bhagat Singh was hanged today 89 years ago. Let us remember what he said about Islam/Muslims, in an essay: "Centuries of continuous warfare and Muslim invasions had dried up the literature of Punjab. The Hindi language was at the verge of extinction. ..." contd.

2."We find a sense of fellow-feeling and helpfulness for the oppressed in the preaching of Guru Teg Bahadur ji:
बन्ही जिन्हां दी पकड़िए, सिर दीजिए बन्ही न छडिए
गुरु तेगबहादुर बोल्या, धरती पै धरम न छोड़िए [Guru Teg Bahadur asked not to forsake your Dharma on this earth.]" contd.

3."Carrying the same spirit Baba Banda & others fought Muslim ruler ceaselessly. ...when Sikhs were compelled to be confined to forests, no new literature could be created. They had a ... spirit to continue their war against Muslim rulers, but they could not plan future beyond."

4."Swami Vivekananda in Bengal and Swami Ramtirtha in Punjab were born app. same time. Both were great and got fame for establishing Indian philosophy abroad. Swami Vivekanand's mission became a permanent institution in Bengal while Punjab misses a memorial to Swami Ramtirtha."

5."Muslims totally lack Indianness, so...propagate Arabic script & Persian language.Failing to understand the importance of Indianness, they fail to understand the importance of one language which could only be Hindi. That's why they keep repeating demand for Urdu like parrot "

6."Muslim newspapers like Zamindar and Siyasat have strong Arabic influence...quite incomprehensible to common people. We wish our Muslim brothers, while sticking to their religion, think of Indianising themselves like Kamal ataTurk. India's salvation is possible only that way."
