PROJECTING THE ISLAMIC NARRATIVES.

Unarguably, Islam is one of the fastest growing religions of the world, with over 1.8 billion adherents, according to Wikipedia statistics. It is a religion which preaches peace, sanity, humanness and goodness to all, no matter the differences.
This religion, notwithstanding its genuine nature and its message of peace, is seen as a threat. Since ages, the undiluted truth that Islam carries has always been a torn pricking the preachers of falsehood and taunting them each time they see an element of Islam in anyone or
anything. This brought about the enemies of Islam dragging Islam into the middle of controversies, but their plots has never for once prevailed, because Islam is not a controversial religion. The light of Islam can never be extinguished.

In seeing to the prevalence of Islam over
other religions, Muslims of the past put a whole lot of efforts in projecting the beauties of Islam that is hidden from the world. They do this through preaching and writing. Several books were written addressing tonnes of issues in Islam. Classical Arabic writings
were rendered into English for non-Arabs, the exegesis and exegetes of the Qur'an became a knowledge being taught in Islamic gatherings, the Prophetic traditions was learnt and implemented by Students of knowledge, historical background of pious predecessors in Islam was brought
into limelight for Muslims to follow as models. Several Muslims put in their best to aid Islam with their God-given gifts. Muslims with influence, affluence and talents all held on to the Divine rope with the sole aim that the word of Allah will always prevail.
Going by the teachings of Islam, there will always be a need to sensitize Muslims every now and then, & remind ourselves of our purpose of creation. The Qur'an says:

''And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers''.

-Sura Adh-Dhariyat, Ayah 55
Back in 2017, myself & @Aswagaawy had a discussion on how we could possibly contribute our quota to Islam & lend a voice to projective the Islamic narratives. After long hours of discussions and deliberations, we can to a conclusion that: ''As writers, the best way to make an
impact is to lend a voice through our writings''. Having reached a suitable conclusion, we wasted no time procrastinating, and we began walking the talk. That year, we started a 30 Days Poetry Series in Ramadān. The series was channeled towards enlightening Muslims with
regards to the Islamic ethics and etiquettes. Because it was the first move ever, we were just getting started, we had a total number of twenty subscribers for the series and it was a soul lifting one. We wrote sixty poems in the space of 29 days and dished it out for them.
The series back then was themed: LU`LU`UAN MANTHŪRAH (Scattered Pearls). 2018 came and we had a wonderful Ramadān Poetry series compared to the previous year. In 2018, we had over 250+ subscribers. It is important to note that the series was made free for all, and the theme for
that year was: ''NUMERO UNO'' (Number one). The #series was woven around historical moments in the life of #Prophet #Muhammad (Peace be upon him) which were rendered in the form of poetry to the amazement of all. The graphics below was used as call for subscribers.
Moving forward...
This year, the Ramadān Poetry series for the 1440A.H. edition is themed: LU`LU`U -L- MAKNŪN (Preserved Pearls). Since the beginning of Ramadān, we've been dishing our excerpts from the series for the consumption of all, with the full texts available to
subscribers alone. Why did we include a subscription fee? You'll get to know at the end of this thread. Today is the 29th day of Ramadan and the series has been going on wonderfully well, below are the excerpts of the series from Day 1 - 29, starting with the subscription flier
The excerpt for Day 30 will be added to this thread tomorrow, In Shaa Allah. So, this year's Ramadān theme is woven around addressing controversial & trending issues in Islam, & we've done justice to it to the best of our abilities & to the extent of what poetry can house.
We however have the intention to make our series into a collection which will be available in prints for Muslims to lay their hands on & learn in lines and stanzas, much reason why we attached a subscription fee to this year's series, but the turnout, though encouraging, cannot
push the publication anywhere. We hereby solicit for your help in projecting the Islamic narratives. We would so much appreciate if we can tag anyone who will be more than eager to reach out to us on this thread, and if you know of any publishing firm that will accept our
manuscript & give a voice to the Islamic narratives, kindly tag them on this post. Do retweet to your networks and contribute your own quota towards projecting the Islamic narratives. You can get in touch with me or at @Aswagaawy via DM or simply place a
call through:

We beseech Allah to grant you all goodness & elevate you with your services to #ISLAM.
After the Day 30 of the series (which was on the day of Eid), we kick-started another series for Sittu Shawwal which last for six days. The excerpt are attached to this tweet as well.
