How to make a British Rail egg sandwich:
- apply Stork margarine to ONE slice of bread (as little as possible)
- cut ONE egg into 12 slices
- apply NINE slices in a 3x3 overlapping grid
- place FIVE strands of cress diagonally (L to R)
- slice sandwich diagonally

The hillest of the hillbillies and the reddest of the rednecks got no use for Trump. They all know climate change is real like they know sunrise is real. Fact is, I'm one of those.
2 They're not idling away the morning in the diner in town waiting to get interviewed. They're invisible.
I've got a friend who claims, believably, that he is the largest scale single one-man steel recycler in Missouri. He is hauling the junk of 190 years of colonizer occupation.
3. He makes his living making Missouri cleaner and more attractive, and also hauls stuff for the Shelter. We pay him. I'm happy to. He's scrounging a living out of the money economy without fully participating in it.

Hey--whatever happened to Sestak? And whoever didn't make the cut for the debates? It seems rational that if you couldn't make it to the debate stage, you should probably move on, this is not the year for you. Ditto for the folks who dropped from 1% to 0% post-debate.
I'm not sure what the appetite is for another yelling match in the next debate. Winnowing the field would mitigate that. Soon we'll have the next quarter FEC monies which will give a hint of who can make it further. I got over 150 emails from campaigns in my work box on Sunday.

Hello SciComm! Today we're doing a stage skills boot camp - I'm going to lay out the specific skills and knowledge you'll need as a non-stage professional to do a great talk, be a great guest on a show, and be way less anxious about it (you'll still be anxious, everybody is!)
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember through all of this is: What you're doing is FOR 👏 THE 👏 AUDIENCE 👏. Making sure they can hear you, see you, and understand you. It's not about YOU being comfortable. Being on stage is deeply uncomfortable, it's just a human reaction!
First up - making sure they can 👂 hear you.
I cannot stress this enough:
If there is a mic.
USE. THE. MIC.
