Speculators are also happy that Democrats, including the Senator from Wall Street @SenSchumer, are finalizing a deal to give corporations hundreds of billions of dollars.
Sanders has not opposed bailing out corporations, let along called for public ownership. Instead he has said there should not be bailouts "with no strings attached." That is, there should be phony "oversight" as the Democrats are trumpeting.
Let's just be clear on what is happening. A pandemic threatens the lives of millions. Health care infrastructure is breaking down. And the entire state, Democrat and Republican, is giving unlimited funds to the rich and forcing workers back on the job. That is what is happening.
