Thread: #COVID19 : A good analogy for men of understanding
I love to see things from different perspectives in order to draw up lessons from them.
When man is asked from religious point of view not to do certain things because of the inherent danger they pose to him as an individual and to the society at large, he echoes the slogans of freedom of speech and movement and association. He uses rights slogans to be deviant.
If he's told from religious perspective not to club nor sin, he frowns at the Religion. But this prohibition is because the religion seeks to protect him from Hell and the Wrath of Allaah. He latches onto freedom and rights slogans. Hence, he remains reckless on the path.
Today, Governments are forced to ask their citizens to remain in isolation, to stay in doors thereby taking over their right and freedom to move and to socialize. Yet, everyone willingly complies and even frowns and insults anyone that refuses to stay indoors.
Why do you think people are willingly obliging to isolate and desocialize even though they could hide under the pretext of freedom and rights? They do recognise and could almost anticipate the danger of going ahead to exercise their freedom and rights to socialize in this period
The same way we see those that are refusing to isolate as irresponsible because of the danger they pose to others is the same way we should see anyone that refuses to obey Allaah and openly disobeys Him. Nobody is defending them using freedom and rights slogan. We are all united
This has always been the message. Yes, it's your right to sin and your freedom to choose not to obey Allaah. However, just as exercising your freedom to movement and socialization in this trying times will endanger millions, so also will that endanger you and others on Qiyamah
We don't see the virus with our naked eyes but are afraid of it and have forfeited our rights and freedom in response to the threat it poses. Why can't we always forfeit our right to sin and freedom to disobey in response to the punishment of Allaah?
We see symptoms of #Covid19 and take measures, yet we see Signs and Evidences of Allaah’s Existence without taking heed. I pray this pandemic draw us closer to Allaah. May Allaah safeguard us.
In recent past, we've been inundated with freedom&rights slogans. The gay rights, the transgender movement, the atheist movement, the nudists, the enlightened minds all of which have one thing in common-Leave God out of the equation. Now we are so humbled to oppose Allah's orders
