So, I've been fighting what I thought was a cold for a few days, today, along with a sore throat, I have a fever & a dry cough.
I haven't been exposed to anyone known to have Covid-19, but am working on getting tested later today.
Will keep everyone posted.

2-I am NOT acutely ill-I have mildly exacerbated sx of a cold, but the fever and the cough are not things I'll take lightly in this outbreak climate. I'm told I meet the testing criteria, so no panic, just abundance of caution.

3-The testing system is interesting-it has taken me 4 calls, first to CT Covid Nurses hotline (my PCP referred me), they sent me to the MD hotline, who did a criteria check & sent me back to the PCP for the MD test orders.. seems very well organized.

Re stimulus bill vote failure today: Schumer continues to hold Senate Dems together, which some of his allies say gives them max leverage to fix what they want fixed in the bill-$ for ALL Americans & worker support. He said once he has a deal with Munchin he'll push it thru fast.
2-Democrats believe it to be absolutely crucial to ensure that the $500 billion bailout fund has adequate rules now, bc after 2008 post bailout stock buybacks the Dem base feel that the wealthy in finance & corp America got away with murder-at worker's expense. This matters.
3-It also matters that word from DC this afternoon is that the GOP believe that Dems are holding this bill up for 'a set of narrow issues' -at the expense of the econ as a whole..
Perspective: Dems are trying to make sure that the $$ goes to those who actually NEED it this time.

This thread is my story battling symptoms this last week. They started differently than what has been reported, which caused some confusion and later fear, and might have led to other's exposure. I believe there are a things we (collectively) can do to better combat #COVID
My wife (Melody) and I were exposed to someone that was sick and in our home a few days before we started seeing symptoms. Melody developed a mild fever, headache and was nauseous a little over a week ago. She also had digestive issues.
The next day, I started having the same issues and developed a rash on my biceps that lasted for a few hours. We didn’t think much of it, because these aren’t symptoms commonly described as being related to COVID-19 and we likely exposed other people.

went through a question list 4 symptom history，if i met anyone from high risk country China italy
i told them i was in Prague 4 film festival & met many people around world.
but seems they are about letting me go.
3/ airport medicals are calling authority to ask about my measurement，go home or stay for test maybe…
seems phones got difficulty to go through…
personally i wish to stay and have test asap.
but i need to respect their decision.

-airborne spread not been reported
(can be envisaged if certain aerosol-generating procedures are conducted in health care facilities)
-fecal shedding demonstrated from some patients, & viable virus identified in limited # case reports.
Household transmission studies underway, prelim studies ongoing in Guangdong est secondary attack rate in households ranges from 3-10%.
As COVID-19 is a newly identified pathogen, no known pre-existing immunity in humans. Everyone is assumed to be susceptible

#COVID-19: It’s possible to get infected a 2nd time. People recovered by their own immune system, but the meds they use are damaging their heart, and when they get it the 2nd time, the antibody makes it worse, and they die of sudden heart failure.

I don't find this unexpected. We had similar results in the study of SARS. Challenge with the virus after vaccination actually made the resulting disease worse. One theory is this may be due to an overactive immune response due to a cytokine storm.
What I find really troubling is doctors in China had to report this anonymously to avoid communist censorship. We are not getting the whole story here. Keep in mind we don't yet know how many cases this involves and we'll have to wait for more case studies in other countries.

If you haven't read it, please do so before continuing on this thread.
This caused me to deep dive into those thoughts & follow the evidence, which led me to a singular conclusion regarding the mystery company referred to in the thread.
I need to lay some ground work so please follow along:
Americans rely on Gov oversight to protect the quality & safety of everything from airbags to eggs to medicine.
Companies are required to submit products for testing & submit to compliance inspections in an effort to protect the populous.
