Ford is planning to assemble more than 100,000 face shields per week and use its in-house 3D printing to make components for personal protective equipment.

Story also says they're working on ventilators but doesn't give timetable on production.

Trump just revealed why he has not yet invoked the Defense Production Act. He said, "It's a great point of leverage. It's a great negotiating tool."

That is not what the act is for!
He also said that Gov Cuomo said that he feels Trump is using the act "appropriately" and that Como would understand because "he understands negotiations."
We need to know WHAT he's demanding from states and other countries? before giving them federal aid.

To me, this approval drop is mostly a testament about the power of Fox News, which did not shy away from criticizing Senator Burr. /1
Burr's stock selloffs really do look bad, but there WAS public reporting on the severity of the #COVID19 pandemic at the time.

Burr sold his stocks on Feb 13.

Here is a tweet from a #coronavirus expert on that very day. /2

I'm not trying to excuse Burr or others - just saying there is certainly reasonable doubt.

My big point is that all it took to tank Burr's approval was one day of bad Fox News press.

Imagine what could happen if Fox would drop the firewall they provide for Donald Trump. /3x

"Effective at 12:01am on Tuesday March 24th for at least the next three weeks, individuals may only leave their home or place of residence under very limited circumstances, and they must adhere to social distancing measures recommended by the CDC."
