There's been a lot of commentary about the possible efficacy of Plaquenil (generic name hydrochloroquine) against CV-19. I have no medical qualifications and no opinion. But I do want to relay information sent to me by a friend who's a doctor in Belgium.
Forwarding a vid of a French TV interview with an MD in Marseilles, about use of Plaquenil there, my friend said the 'standard treatment' for CV-19 in Belgium is now a combination of Plaquenil and Azithromycin. The latter is an antibiotic used for pneumonia (among other things).
My friend adds, however, that while the treatment works well, it must be started early, before there are 'lung lesions.'
