Citizens watch in helplessness as UCP spends more than a Billion in public tax dollars to bail out an energy corporation and doctors facing a deadly pandemic get a 30% pay cut.

But we knew that already. It just keeps getting confirmed by the actions of this government.

The intent is to transfer taxpayer dollars to those that support the industry.

Efforts are being made to increase the transport of basically free oil sands to refineries in the US.

@Blurg5 @jkenney Kenney lifted the cap on production of oil. This drive the price down again. Those corporations who have refining capacity in the US make profits by improving the quality of the product before sale.

Currently, there is an oil glut in North America due to cheap Saudi oil.

Canada is at capacity for oil storage. Yet production continues in Alberta.

Here is the grift of a lifetime.

Thus the speed at which Kenney is moving is not surprising. He’s transferring Alberta natural resources to US ownership.

That’s presumably why so many head offices moved state side in the last year. They must have known Trump negotiators were demanding the increase in energy purchases from China.

Alberta is paying through the nose, for the privilege of being robbed blind.

That’s the goal of paleolibertarians. That’s what paleo means. The distant past, when there were no limitations on the profiteering and corruption that oil magnates practiced.
