📍Make a 9” x 7.5” pattern
📍Double fold your fabric, pin pattern to fabric & cut.
📍Optional: Cut 2 more pieces of fusible lining fabric.
📍Put right side of fabric together, add, fusible fabric top & bottom. Check which side fuses.

📍Cut two pieces of elastic about 9” each.
📍Pin elastic strips to inside as shown on the narrow side of the fabric rectangle.
📍Repeat on opposite side & pin

📍Sew 5/8 seam all around leaving a two inch opening so you can reverse.
📍Before you reverse, clip corners & sides for easing,
📍Reverse so the good side is exposed, Use end of scissors to release the corners fully.
📍Press/Iron the the fabric which will fuse the lining.

📍Add three pleats to your rectangle and pin securely.
Is okay if all pleats are not exactly even— but try to do that.
📍Sew all around the edge.

📍Try on your mask.
📍If the elastic is too big cut & tie so your mask fits securely.
📍for this mask I used 8” strips of elastic, which fitted me better.
📍Once you have made your proto type & made adjustments, make more.
