Final #coronavirus numbers for Nov 2nd. The world added 472,997 #COVID19 infections while losing another 5,712 lives to #COVID around the world. In both cases very high numbers for a Monday...not a good sign for the week to come. 
The #USA registered 88,905 new #COVID19 infections yesterday, a very high number for a Monday and a grim sign for the week to come. Yesterday another 522 Americans died from #COVID.
In #Europe #France reported its highest ever number of #COVID19 infections yesterday with 52,518. It also suffered 416 #coronavirus deaths. Its positivity rate continues to climb now at 20.6%. France began its 2nd #COVID lockdown on Friday.
Elsewhere in #Europe #COVID19 numbers mostly took a pause from weeks of ever higher trajectories. That said #Switzerland registered its highest number of #COVID infections yesterday. While #Italy, #Spain, and #Germany (now in a lockdown) all saw high #coronavirus numbers.
The #UK, which will begin a four week #COVID19 lockdown on Thursday, reported 18,950 new #coronavirus infections while suffering another 136 #COVID deaths.
#Canada saw its usual Monday surge reporting 2,681 new #COVID19 infections yesterday, driven by B.C. clearing out a weekend backlog with over 1,100 #COVID infections, while another 29 Canadians lost their lives to the #coronavirus.
In #SouthAmerica #Brazil saw a Monday plunge in #COVID19 infections, #Argentina’s #coronavirus numbers were subdued, while #COVID infections began to climb in #Colombia.
