Day 18 of the #US #Russia war on #Ukraine soil:
In its first direct message to the west and #NATO, Russia hit the NATO-US-Ukraine joint training centre at Yavoriv, around 25 km from borders with #Poland.

The Yavoriv base is called "Peacekeeper Center", near the western city of Lviv. It has been used for training of #Ukraine army by foreign instructors, mainly the #US Florida National Guard, to prepare Ukraine to become a NATO base challenging #Russia.

It has been used as the safest hub between #NATO country members and #Ukraine to transport lethal weapons to be used in the ongoing war because #Russia bombed most Ukrainian airports (only yesterday two airports were neutralised).

South, Russian forces captured the eastern outskirts of Mariupol & shell the city. Russian forces pushed the attack towards Mykhailo-Kotsyubynske and Shestovytsia on the E95, 15km west & southwest of Chernihiv, to fully encircle the city.

Russian forces continue the attack on Izyum, 110km southeast of Kharkiv, and Rubizhne, south of Kharkiv, a city under attack and shelling. An obvious objective of the Russian force is to advance toward Dnipro and Zaporizhya.

Maps showing the #Ukraine #Russia war triggered by the #US's objective to establish NATO bases on the borders with Russia & in all former Soviet Union countries, including Georgia, rebuffing the US verbal promises by US sec of States to 2 Russian Presidents Gorbachev and Yeltsin.

The #US and #NATO are shipping weapons into #Ukraine at breakneck speed, including highly sensitive items such as Stinger, shoulder-fired missiles called man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS) that can take down aircraft.

Delivering those amounts of MANPADs into one of the largest conflicts in #Europe since World War II carries with it risks that some could fall into the wrong hands – a possibility the #US has NOT considered.

In the past, the #US delivered Stinger missiles to Usama Bin laden, (late) Al-Qaeda Emir & Mujahedeen in #Afghanistan. Many Stinger missiles have also been sold, to armed groups. 60 civilian aircraft have been hit by MANPADS since the 1970s, killing more than 1,000 civilians.

Allow me, if I may, to add more info to many people asking about the Yavoriv joint training centre where 57 Ukrainian army servicemen & "foreign NATO instructors" were wounded and 9 killed by #Russia bombing.

#US Task Force Gator deployed in #Yavoriv is the 11th deployment of U.S. forces to this training center, called Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, or JMTG-U, since President Barack Obama initiated the program in 2015 to prepare #Ukraine for a potential war with #Russia.

150 #US officers of the Florida Army National Guard and dozens of #NATO officers were gearing the Ukrainian military to fight this war against #Russia, creating an underground control and command base to direct the attacks against Russian troops.

When I write from the beginning that this is a #US - #Russia war on #Ukraine soil, this hit is a direct hit to the US that @JoeBiden needs to respond by ending this war or escalating so it leads to further conflict beyond the Ukrainian borders.

At Yavoriv Command and Control centre, the #US and #NATO officers coordinated the attacks on the Russian forces after collecting and analysing all intelligence information gathering about the movement of the Russian troops, their line of supply and weak flanks.

The #US objective is to drag this war as long as possible to exhaust the #Russian army, weaken its military capability and the economy of Russia. #Moscow is aware of the US goal & has decided to hit "outside the box" showing its determination to take this war further if necessary

This is a very dangerous game where we are walking on the edge of the abyss. The presence of #NATO SoF forces on the ground and a #NATO Command and control bases in and out of #Ukraine will have consequences.
