Yesterday, the thread was interrupted by @TwitterSupport banning me for 12 hours and their Execs refusing to reply to requests. Thanks to those who tried to help but the whole system is crazy
So what was my "crime"?
Errr.. I wrote about this story which is all over Twitter and international media.
It may have been Kremlin trolls, but I was almost instantly banned when mocking the FSB's videos.
Apparently I released "intimate details". WTF??
When @TwitterSupport's arbitrary ban expires you have two options.
Only at that point can you dispute Twitter's ban.
If you challenge the reason for the ban you stay banned for two weeks while they "investigate"
If you accept your tweet was wrong it's deleted and you're "free"
Anyway, on with the news. I've not published the UK's Intel report for a few days, but today's is interesting.
There were photos of barges being moved to #Kherson's Antonivskyi bridge. It's unclear whether yesterday's attack by #Ukraine was targeting these.
I get a temporary ban for journalism, while a ruSSian "ambassador" in Vienna can write "no mercy to the Ukraine population" and continue to tweet lies and extremist hate-filled stuff. Nice!
Amid real threats of #RussianAggression let's hope the day passes peacefully. This means such a lot to the people of #Ukraine
My friends will kill me if I don't also wish good luck to @DynamoKyiv today.
They're not involved in the UPL just yet as they are in Portugal, with a tough task to come from behind against @SLBenfica to qualify for the #ChampionsLeague
Another lovely football related story - the start of the new season will see a special🇺🇦raised
The very one used by a protestor in the 1976 Olympics when Ukraine was under occupation by Moscow/USSR
2/2 Compare #Donetsk with the destruction of the #Mykolaiv regional HQ in March.
This could easily be another false flag. Remember maniac Simonyan's call to bomb #Kyiv's government buildings and intelligence that #Russia is likely to strike cities.
More damage from shelling in centre of #Donetsk. This is near the Central hotel - a little to the west on the ludicrously named "prospect of the 25th anniversary of the Red Army" (I'm not kidding)
If someone tells you #Russia won't attack The Baltic States, that Putin has no intention of expanding & other such nonsense, just ask yourself why has the Kremlin opened a criminal case on #Latvia's decision to remove Soviet statues?
"Moscow deeply regrets that the IAEA mission to the ZNPP has not yet taken place due to unscrupulous games of the UN Secretariat."
Russia claims they will allow inspectors to the #Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in #Enerhodar.
Night in #Ukraine
Among friends who follow the international news and journalists, there is a fair amount of tension. Intelligence reports predict a real possibility of major attacks.
We all know Putin likes symbolism.
🇺🇦Independence Day in 40 mins and 6-month war "anniversary"
One city which has been hit so far is #Kharkiv... but there is some speculation this may even have been a plane hitting the ground after air defence was firing.
Looks like a missile but let's wait for confirmation
Another video from #Kharkiv and from this it does look like air defence hit something - likely a missile, which still hit the ground. Hopefully it lessened the damage.
You can hear a couple in this video, supposedly made in the city tonight (time stamp checks out).
But if you understand Russian, beware some "choice" language!
In #Donetsk city this is happening at 'Dom na Gvardeiske'
Not heard of that place, but seems it's to the east of the occupied city on the way to Makiivka.
Beginning to look like more than just "a fire" being reported on local Russian media.
Right now #Kharkiv is under attack again. It's been almost incessant for two days now on #Ukraine's second city.
Looks like the city centre is again within range of #Russia's rocket launchers. Reports of 8 missiles fired at the Aviation Uni and the adjacent airfield.
1/2 One of #Russia's most high profile politician's has survived an assassination attempt which killed his daughter.
30 year old Dariya Dugina died when the car she was in exploded. Her father Aleksandr Dugin, sometimes called 'Putin's brain', is seen as a far right extremist
Aleksandr Dugin has previously called for Russia to control from Dublin to Vladivostok.
He was the target of the car bomb. Dugin reportedly switched vehicles at the last moment and was following his daughter when her Toyota exploded.
Right now ALL of #Ukraine is experiencing air raid warnings, but not everything is the same as usual.
A few minutes ago, at the end of yesterday's thread, I reported on explosions in occupied #Melitopol, but plenty of missiles being fired from #Russia into free Ukraine...
However, it seems as though #Russia's OWN air defences have taken out some of their own missiles leaving #Belgorod!
Difficult to confirm this, but looking at confirmed radar reports of missiles being fired from Russian territory, towards east #Ukraine this does seem very likely.
A little later, around 04:30 #Kharkiv was subjected to a new wave of terror from the air
So far 5 civilians known to be injured as rockets hit the Slobidsky + Kholodnohirsky districts, with a big fire in the latter where the local Administration building collapsed
#Russia shelled the Mohyla university. The mayor published these photos of the building, adding that just this week he'd shot video to show there was no military activity there.
