(5) Back to #SouthKorea & #Japan. Why the dispute? It’s interpretation of history and what is the right restitution without admitting it’s restitution. So even now, the peacemakers are ahead of either majority or large plurality of their own people:

So, the views are mixed. And in democracies, a policy without much popular support (which happens to be about something that matters to their lives) is not sustainable. But the rest of the options are all worse. With a family autocracy with nukes next door.
