& hot damn, not only did Burkle & Blavatnik reportedly state their interest, it went to board DIRECTLY THROUGH Harvey Weinstein's mouth.
When someone is accused of assaulting 60+ women, odd that the first thing you do is contact the predator to offer to buy the company?
Wouldn't you think about waiting a bit longer, the price drops as the culpability builds, no?

Or call someone OTHER than disgraced ex-CEO?
An ex-CEO who no longer has any control over the operations seems like a very odd choice to call, even given a prior business relationship.

So. I'm kind of disturbed by this video, because - though I know it's not intended as creepy, the sexualization of gymnasts is indicative of something kind of dangerous in mainstream culture. Listen, and see if you understand.

(also, brilliant routine)

And, TBC, I'm not going off and tearing down the narrator for his commentary - parts made me wish he was an actual commentator. But there's something off in how it's acceptable - and even expected - for normal guys to sexualize any performance where you see above-mid-thigh-flesh.
Especially those amongst gymnasts, where girls are pushed to maintain a pre-pubescent body shape, and in some cases pushed out when they don't.

It's clear that @TheDemocrats can't give in to Trump - and it's FOR THE SAKE OF federal workers financial and mental status: if they do, he'll just use those federal workers' livelihoods as pawns again - EVERY TIME there's any kind of dispute, he'll pick on that as a soft spot.
What the @TheDemocrats SHOULD do:

offer up an equivalent amount of funding as what he demands for 'wall,' but targeted squarely at stopping human trafficking, and bringing EVERY perpetrator and participant in trafficking of humans to justice.
Funding that would provide for improved monitoring at the border - for FLIR equipment to scan every shipping container and vehicle for bodies, for equipment to detect CO2 concentrations and moisture and volatile compounds that indicate presence of living organisms.

Perhaps he doesn't have any power to bring these bills to the floor - but only because he believes the consequences if he does means the GOP loses control.

If it's Putin you're worried about, @senatemajldr, we know he wants to burn everything down, so....
But - if it's Trump you're worried about, he won't out you, you're the only safety net he has left.

Seriously. Just kick this one down the road, and bring the damn bills to the floor. Trump will throw a temper tantrum, but he won't throw away the majority.

Unless you want to have all 800,000 federal employees, plus contractors and those in their economic ecosystems itching for revenge when it comes time for your charges to be brought.

It seems like IRS employees would be a particularly bad enemy for you to make at this point.
