1. "The Trump administration’s upcoming National Security Strategy — a document required by Congress — will be the first one to have a deep focus on economic competitiveness, particularly with China, according to a source familiar with it."-Breitbart
2. Why is this important? For decades, at least since the end of the Cold War, the leaders of the USA have traded away our economic might for political favors and in a mistaken belief that wealth inequality causes war.
3. Our leaders/elites have swallowed the postmodernist/communist view that the rest of the world hates/envies us due to our wealth. Call it "wealth guilt" and thus it was our duty to increase the wealth for the rest of the world.
4. This view by the elites contain a lot of assumptions. The biggest one is that the economic pie is a zero-sum game, that wealth is fixed and to make one wealthier, you must decrease the wealth of the other.
5. During the cold war we used "Free Trade" to reward our allies and keep them in our sphere of influence. After the cold war it became more of a way to try to bring our non allies like China into the New World Order.
6. In essence, the elites decided to give up parts of our wealth to increase the economies of the rest of the world. It cost the elites nothing because they made money on the new trade policy plus they controlled it through things like the WTO
7. In other words, it was decided the citizens of the USA would get poorer while the rest of the world got richer until like one big happy postmodern family the entire world would meet in the middle and peace would reign for 3000+ years..... Utopia.
8. Of course that would require other things besides redistribution of wealth like an end to the nation state, a worldwide legal system, a dilution of religion differences and an ultimate end to religion as a whole via mass migration but that's another thread.
9. So the elites carved up the world and tried to remake it with things like the EU, NAFTA, WTO, APEC, ASEAN, G20. China. All in an effort to bring "equality" of wealth to the world.
10. So it should come as no surprise that when we were doing trade deals or forming world bodies our elites did not put America 1st nor did they look at our economic power as an asset that should be protected.
11. As crazy as it sounds our economic strength was looked at by our elites (and most still think of it this way) as a liability. Something that should not be praised but viewed as a danger to world peace.
12. This as far as I can tell was also the time when our elites started to view the citizens of this country as a hindrance, who had to be kept in the dark for their own good, instead of respecting the will of the people who elected them.
13. After all, if your goal is to reduce the standard of living of your citizens while increasing the standard of living of the rest of the world; you can not allow yourself to feel compassion for them. You must harden your heart to the hobbits.
14. Another side effect would be you start to feel for the foreigners more than you do for your citizens. You are helping them, you become invested in their achievements and success and hardened to your citizen's plight.
15. In the elites mind, they are doing something noble. They are preventing world war (while getting rich themselves) what matter to them if millions of Americans lose their jobs, homes, standard of living. To make an omelet some eggs have to be broken.
16. Fast forward to today. The elites goal is almost in sight. Our economic strength and ability to make things has been degraded. China and the EU are almost at par with us. In another decade the New world order will be intact. Utopia is right around the corner.
17. The people have had enough. Brexit and Trump election both clear signs telling the elites enough. The elites don't listen. they resist, they fight back, they try to keep their goal intact.
18. Now Trump's foreign policy unlike the last several decades is using what is left of our economic power as a sword and shield for this country. He isn't guilty about being rich. He understands the power of wealth and isn't afraid to use it nor will he just give it away.
19. Trump is rewriting decades of American policy. He is rejecting the notion that wealth inequality causes war. He is saying instead wealth in the right hands avoids war. Peace through economic strength if you will.
20. This means that we must rebuild our economy to stay at peace and at the same time protect our economy and use it as a weapon if needed to stop those that wish us harm.
21.That is why a deep focus on economic competitiveness in the National Security Strategy is so important and a game changer to the entire NEW world order.
22. One final point, our elites see wealth as a liability, countries like China & Russia don't. They see things like Trump does. Thus they have been using their growing economic power for years to defeat the USA while our elites deal with their wealth guilt
