1/ interest article in Tablet, which ponders connection between Steele dossier and Brennan's August briefings, a topic that I've wondered about from time to time.

2/ curiously, on Nov 4, 2016, CyberBerkut published a March 23, 2007 letter from Simpson and Jacoby to Manafort, written in the leadup to April 17, 2007 WSJ article discussed in Tablet web.archive.org/web/2016111918… Otherwise, letter doesnt seem to be public

3/ CyberBerkut claimed to have obtained the letter through a hack on the Ukrainian AAP, which, in the context, appears to be the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.

4/ they also include several other documents pertaining to Manafort (public but not easily accessible), together with documents pertaining to a June 2016 visit to the US by Boris Lozhin, then the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration web.archive.org/web/2016111918…
5/ CyberBerkut (which obviously needs to be viewed with caution) claimed that documents were given to Lozhin during his June 2016 visit to Washington by Evan Ryan, an Assistant Secretary of State. (A known meeting that was publicly reported) 2009-2017.state.gov/r/pa/prs/appt/…

Entire matter very murky. But Ukrainian connections troublesome in other aspects.

DOJ charged @NVeselnitskaya with making a "false and misleading declaration implying" that she had not participated in drafting Russian response to US inquiry. Before looking at details, the US DOJ made false statements in indictment, including canard that Magnitsky was lawyer.
2/ @LucyKomisar, who has diligently researched Browder frauds (and others) have shown that Magnitsky was accountant for Browder firms, convicted for his role in Browder tax frauds in Russia. He was NOT heroic "lawyer" exposing fraud.

More evidence is surfacing that the 'secret society' inside the DOJ that wanted to obstruct/impeach the incoming Trump administration focused their efforts on turning Flynn's phone calls with Russian ambassador Kislyak into a major crime to be investigated by THEM.
As I explain in the unrolled tweet thread linked above, to do this, the plotters used allies in the media to launch a false narrative that an intel report had caught Flynn doing something shady & corrupt.

3.) [@maggieNYT ] ABC in Australia is reporting it was Alexander Downer (Australian High Commissioner to UK) who then let counterparts in US know that George Papadopolous was talking about the Sidney Blumental hack via Clinton Emails.
