What that means for each person will vary, but consider your resources and plan accordingly.
Do you have generous vacation time or a flexible schedule? Plan on being off work for the election.
Do you have money? Plan to donate.
Do you have a gift for words? Plan on communicating.
Are you an organized person? Plan on organizing.
Are you a good researcher? Find the best resources and share them.
Do you have a platform? Use it to amplify those who don't.
Are you Christian? Plan to put your body between a bigot and a Muslim.
Are you employed? Speak for the unemployed.
Are you well? Speak for the sick.
Live in a heavily red district? Consider volunteering in a toss-up—but also consider fighting where you are. A fight you're likely to lose is still a fight worth fighting.
Is the incumbent running unopposed? Consider running.

I was mostly on the sidelines in 2016. I was far too comfortable.
Nobody on the sidelines. Whatever that means for you.
It's about doing whatever you're able to do. If you are only able to do a little bit, do that little bit.
And you'll be doing so much more than the person who is able to do much, who does little, or nothing.
They've taken over. They've held almost all the power in our country for a year now.
It's been bad.
It's time to show them that other people matter.
Now they think they have.
It's our job to show them they haven't.
It's our country. OURS. For every value of 'our.'
THEY matter
We oppose them on behalf of ALL
Primarily, we oppose them for the protection of those they would harm
But secondly, we oppose them for their own sake
Nobody should live in the reality they want to create
Make a plan.
Give what you have.
Good morning and Happy New Year.
