I have looked into the Table presented by you. Your analysis is sloppy and your takedown screams agenda. It is Data debauchery.

2. I have looked into data between 2010-2017 ie 4 yrs of Manmohan 2010-2013 and next 4 years of Modi 2013-2017. The Table is below;

👉206- Highest number of terrorists Killed in a year 2017, since 2010.
👉574- Total Terrorists Killed between 2014-2017 > 449 between 2010-2013.

3.Hence looking into the above figures of terrorists eliminated, we can say 2014-2017 have been more successful years against Terror.

Civilian Casualties, As per your Muscular Policy theory and media perception. I expected spurt in Civilian deaths during 2014-17, however👇

4. Civilian Casualties; Total During the period of 2014-2017 were 100 and lesser compared to 104 Civilian deaths between 2010-2013.

❌ Thus Propaganda of Manmohan as apostle of peace and fewer Kashmiri’s were killed in J&K during his peaceful years falls flat, for the period.

5. Now the question has the muscular policy between 2014-2017 lead to lesser Terror incidents than 2010-2013?

Since 2017 no is NA. I took average of the Two periods. Between 2014-2017 average terror incidents were 251 and yes were lesser than 305 on average during 2010-2013.

1. Highest no of terrorists killed in 2017 since 2010.
2.More Terrorists Killed in 2014-2107
3.Muscular policy did not result in increase in civilian casualties, infact lesser no. of Kashmiri’s killed.
4.On an Avg lesser incidents from preceding 4 years.

7. What these tables don’t speak is marginal increase in SF figures. However I would explain that by the following points which, Mr Chidambaram you would have not considered before making your sweeping statements about so called “Muscular” policy. Points hereunder 👇

21July 2016: Jyotiraditya Scindia called for a “plebiscite” in Kashmir and you asked for “Azadi” or autonomy for Kashmir.

14. 28 Oct 2017: You asked for Greater Autonomy for Kashmir. Your party immediately issued a statement distancing from your view and said “J&K and Ladakh” is an integral part of India. Clearly suggesting that your statements were not conducive to the Integrity of India.

15. You have articulated your controversial views on AFSPA. You called it an ‘obnoxious law’ and further said, the then HM in 2010 has started the process to repeal/amend the AFSPA law. Then CM of J&K has confirmed it and also endorsed your views. 👇
