1) A puppet with the Democrat's hands alllll up inside him from the WaPo attempts to pick out a line from Trump's WSJ to criticize
2) In doing so, he has blinders on that ignore the rest of the interview and the things said within which are quite enlightening as to how Trump's foreign policy works
3) First, the top response to the question of whether he thinks North Korea is trying to drive a wedge between himself and President Moon. "I'll let you know in... within the next 12 months"
4) This hints at the fact that there is a long term plan in place regarding North Korea. But it goes on from there.
5) He acknowledges that if he were in North Korea's shoes he would try, and then he mentions wedges. This is the line the WaPo PUPPET @AaronBlake made a snarky comment on, missing the ENTIRE POINT of what Trump was saying
6) Probably because @AaronBlake wouldn't know negotiation strategy if it slithered up and bit him in the ass. When you are in a negotiation as the weaker party, your immediate goal is to break up the stronger party into smaller segments that you can get on more equal footing
7) Now, Trump and the USA is not in the weaker position, but even in a stronger position sapping the weaker party of support is still good strategy. Now, where has Trump done this?
8) That previous tweet is from 2013.

This is from pre-inauguration 2017
9) Trump DOES know more about wedges than anyone alive, @AaronBlake you WaPo puppet with horse blinders on. He's been working to drive a wedge between North Korea and everyone around it for years before he was even officially president.
10) Second off, what @aaronblake fails to realize is that everyone pays attention to what Trump says, period. When he's actively speaking, when he's in an interview, what he says matters. newsweek.com/north-korea-tr…
11) "But I'll tell you, you know, when you talk about driving a wedge, we also have a thing called trade. And South Korea... we have a trade deficit with South Korea of $31 billion a year. That's a pretty strong bargaining chip to me."
12) While @AaronBlake screeches like a puppet howler monkey about wedges, he completely skips over the fact that Trump just fired a shot across the bow of South Korea, letting them know not to cut the US out just because North Korea's talking.
13) Trump has reinvented diplomacy and these know-nothing 'political reporters' like the PUPPET @AaronBlake don't even REALIZE it. Trump is sending messages, making huge signals, demonstrating policy without using his or their state departments.
14) His tweets aren't just rabbits for the media to chase. They are his smoke signals, his morse code. Not only that, but look at how he talks about these other leaders
15) He's got a great relationship with President Xi of China. He 'likes him a lot'. A great relationship with Prime Minister Abe of Japan. Pretty huge endorsements if you ask me. See, negotiations, there's strategy, and then there's managing relationships
16) "I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea."
17) Record skip. The music stops. WHAT?

Actually, he probably does. These two have never talked, their respective diplomatic groups have not talked, but they are communicating. Rocket Man through his declarative propaganda statements and threats, Trump through his tweets.
18) I recommend @ScottAdamsSays for more detail on how they communicate, but the important thing is, there is more actual meaningful communication happening between North Korea and the United States' leaders now than basically any time in the past.
19) Before @BarackObama North Korea's game was trading time for resources to keep the Kim family's power intact. During Obama's regime the game became isolation, with China and Russia ensuring isolation on the UN's side.
20) Now? For the first time, North Korea has to be the one to step forwards and initiate the diplomacy. Through their indirect communication, North Korea is the one having to step forwards and ask WTF is happening? nytimes.com/2018/01/10/wor… And that's on Trump.
21) You're right, @AaronBlake, Trump DOES know more about wedges, and he knows how to remove them too. Amazing that the boorish racist is making more progress with North Korea than the enlightened Obama ever could. Almost like you don't know what you're talking about. PUPPET /end
