Trump and Republicans fail at running the government because their only shared philosophies are what the government shouldn't be and who it shouldn't help. 1/
When they're forced to make a decision in terms of direction forward, that alliance fails because they are literally opposed to one another in every possible way. 2/
The Republican Party has become a reactionary group that only responds to progressivism, so when they attempt to do anything to make the government work their first reaction is to make it not work. 3/
There's no going forward. There's only shutting down past programs, hurting people who have been helped by improvements, lowering or destroying regulations. 4/
The only thing that actually unites them is their hatred of government and a belief that it's an instrument to further their own ambition when played correctly. 5/
This is why their only achievement has been the tax bill, which was only agreed upon because they needed to please their donors and base to continue their tenure in Congress. 6/
They have no other purpose in DC than to gum up the works and continue destroying the progress of government. Anytime something actually needs done? They're going to fail and fail spectacularly. 7/
This Republican Party should never be trusted with the levers of government again. They've proven incompetent, incapable, and unwilling to act on good faith. Period, end of story. 8/8
