Fox & Friends on Trump trying to fire Mueller: "Well, the president says it's fake news, that happened last June, it's something we have to tell you about because it's a headline on the NY Times. What do you think about that? Do you even care?"
Incidentally, Pete Hegseth is in the Brian Kilmeade chair this morning for extra hackery.
As of 6:30 am, that one minute 13 second segment is Fox & Friends' entire coverage of Trump trying to fire Mueller. Here's what they're covering instead.
MSNBC: Trump ordered Mueller fired
CNN: Trump frustrated with Kelly
Fox: Single payer is bad!!!
Fox & Friends this morning:

73 seconds on Trump trying to fire Mueller.

20 seconds on this:
Doocy: Did President Trump really want to fire special counsel Robert Mueller? What he just told reporters you are going to want to hear. It's not in the papers.*

*Because he made the comment overnight.
Fox & Friends has now moved on to the "doesn't the president have the right to fire anyone he wants to" defense.
Hegseth: The president says it's fake news, and even if it's true he didn't fire Mueller so it isn't news.

Earhardt: He says it's fake news, let's move on to something you actually care about.
That monster.
I see we're still doing this.
Doocy to WH's Mercedes Schlapp: If Trump had actually fired Mueller it would be a big story, but he didn't do it!
Steve Doocy's "questions" to WH comms strategist Schlapp about the report that Trump tried to fire Mueller, in their entirety:
MSNBC: Trump ordered Mueller fired
CNN: Trump ordered Mueller fired
Fox: Kerry considering 2020 run
Just doing the news.
Here's my post on today's broadcast:
