A key fact about Jessica Drake -- Trump accuser and Stormy Daniels pal -- wasn’t mentioned in yesterday's reports. Her PR guy recently said Drake signed an NDA re Trump -- and a day later said he had misspoken. Let's review this odd turn and how it advances the story. 1/

On 10/22/16, Drake became the 14th woman to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct -- kissing without asking permission and offering $10K for sex. 2/

On January 12, Drake's publicist, Josh Ortiz, told @thedailybeast that “Jessica signed a non-disclosure agreement after her allegations of misconduct, and she can’t do as much as peep [Trump's] name publicly." 3/

Hours after publication, Drake's lawyer, Gloria Allred, sent a new statement in Ortiz's name, in which Ortiz said he had "never been told" that Drake signed an NDA. 🤔 4/

Allred told Buzzfeed that Drake had "never signed an NDA with President Trump either before or after he was elected." 5/

Of course, such a denial doesn't exclude an NDA with Trump's fixer Michael Cohen, or --- as Stormy Daniels was paid -- via a shell corporation. 6/

And Allred declined to say whether Daniels had been paid off. 7/

What would a Drake NDA/payment add to the story, given that we already know Trump paid off one porn star? Because it appears that Trump paid off Drake *after* she accused him of misconduct. 8/

Why would he do that? Drake couldn’t have sued him successfully due to the relevant statute of limitations. Perhaps Drake knew more than she revealed in her October 2016 presser -- about other bad acts by Trump, either against her or others. 9/

Or maybe she was paid off because she knew about Trump and Stormy. Per Stormy's NDA, she was one of four people listed having "confidential information." Did Trump pay a total of *five people* to keep quiet about their liaison? What a generous man! 10/

And why did Allred say Drake didn't sign an NDA with Trump "either before or after he was elected"? Is it possible she signed an NDA with Trump *after* he won Of course, this might not crack the top ten of shady/imprudent Trump actions during the transition. 11/

So we probably now know two of the "100 women" that Bannon said Trump's lawyers "took care of" during the campaign. Even assuming that Bannon is off by an order of magnitude, I suspect more such women will emerge. 12/END
