I am a gun violence survivor. My mom, Joyce, died by gun suicide & never got to see me grow into the man I am today. too many Parkland parents won't see their children grow up either. Thats why we have to keep going. We move from grief to action #SurvivorStrong #MarchForOurLives

Ending gun violence isn’t political. THIS IS PERSONAL.

An America free from gun violence means picking your kids up from school and hearing about their latest art project, not the latest lockdown drill. #SurvivorStrong #MarchForOurLives

It means a holiday table filled with family and laughter instead of a table with an empty seat and broken hearts.

It means holding your child’s diploma, instead of holding their death certificate.

It’s about celebrating who someone has become instead of mourning who they could have been.

It’s about our shared belief in our right to live free from the fear of a bullet.

It means watching your loved one get easy access to the mental health care they need instead of easy access to a firearm. #SurvivorStrong #MarchForOurLives

When we scream NEVER AGAIN, it isn't just to stop another bullet from piercing the flesh of a student or person in our community, it is saying ENOUGH of being divided by merchants of death

& ENOUGH of the lies spread by feckless leaders who accept money from the blood-soaked hands of the gun death lobby buying our politicians. #SurvivorStrong #MarchForOurLives

We have marched for truth, for science, for taxes, WE HAVE MARCHED FOR WOMEN... and it has come to this.

We now have to march for our lives and the lives of our children.

Marching isn’t the last step. It’s the beginning of a long road towards ending the deadly epidemic of gun violence. Today we marched. In November, we VOTE! We must vote like our lives depend on it, b/c it does. Contact your elected officials. Then contact them again

Not one more moment of silence. America has been silent too long as our loved ones are dying at the end of a barrel of a gun. Not one more empty thought and hollow prayers. #SurvivorStrong #MarchForOurLives

#NotOneMore moment of them telling us “now isn’t the time to talk about it”, because every 16 minutes someone is shot & killed in America. It’s already too late. We must embrace that fierce urgency of now. #SurvivorStrong #MarchForOurLives

It is time for change, and change is coming. We are the change. We are the ones we've been waiting for. And it's our time to make this world better a place for us all. We are #SurvivorStrong
