But Harry Reid's Chief of Staff said that Reid tried to get the Times off the story.

So the Times should have known it was inaccurate at the time, unless they had a source at a higher briefing level than Harry Reid. That can't be too many people.

doesn't even understand that the Kremlin attacking our elections is not the same thing as an American using negative campaigning against another American.
