1/Listen. Bill Cosby and R. Kelly are not being lynched. They are paying for their actions. I’ve seen the word “lynching” in relation to these two at least 5 times in the last hour. And I can not.
2/I don’t do well when racist try and use the term: And I definitely don’t do well when rapist apologist use the term. When this term “Lynching” or “Lynch-mob" is used almost in any way, it’s a disservice to American history.
3/Ppl have been reporting on R. Kelly’s crimes for years. THERE ARE RECEIPTS all over the internet. No one listened when black women in Chicago spoke on it… and nothing happened when this came out:

4/Riding for this predator is ridiculous. I mean ppl are actually saying “We’re taking a black man down!” While he’s been taking black GIRLS down for year. He wasn’t sing bump and grind to grown women he was crooning to little girls.

6/And Bill Cosby? Let’s hold on the 60 women accusing him. Let’s hold on his comedy routines where he talks about slipping something in a woman’s drink. Let’s hold on the teams of lawyers he has to fight this stuff for years...
7/Let’s talk about everyone being mad about Candace Owens. Same (mostly blk men) mad at her but backing COSBY, when he was saying the same shit! He was going around talking about pulling your pants up and playing respectability politics for years.

10/So horrific that we shouldn’t throw those words around. Men and women were beat, castrated, hung, and shot. Their body parts would be cut off for souvenirs… There are few situations that rise to this language.
11/When we are going to stop protecting the powerful? When are we going to see the little girls R. Kelly has harmed. When are we going to see the women Cosby has raped? When is enough, enough?
