Question to @richdepalma about city-wide displacement/gentrification:
Saying there's room for more density in D8. Specifically Oak Hill town center/plaza. When we redevelop, it gives us the ability to add green infrastructure.

Saying there's a false belief that D8 is uninterested in transit. Talks about the missed opportunity for transit on south mopac.
.@richdepalma on transportation: sometimes transit for people can be strategic. Offer limited fixed schedule so people can plan to run their errands at that time.

It is no surprise Twitter targets accounts for “wrong think” or as we on the #Right like to call it “free-think” this is because of two events which are now totally and utterly inextricably linked, #Brexit and #Trump and the Establishment have been rocked to the core. 2/15

So Trans Twitter (and Gay Twitter, and Leftist Twitter) are all pretty mad about this article. But most people who are mad about it haven't read it, which is a big problem when Singal worked very hard to give it the appearance of balance. So lets break down how dangerous this is.
Singal checked every box for this article look genuine in its concerns, questions, and conclusions. He talked to happy transitioners and doctor advocates and dispelled myths often used to argue against medical transition. But make no mistake, this article is disingenuous at best.
While Singal talked to people on all sides of the conversation the fact of the matter is he did not reach the conclusions of the article through his work. He went into this article believing that access to transition is becoming too easy, with the goal of convincing you of it too

#FlourReport A bunch of people have asked to see how we make the simple bread I’m always showing. It uses yeast collected out in nature, and small batch stone ground grains. My idea was to taste the bread we read about in ancient texts. Here’s how I do it:
The total ingredients are: 150g naturally collected yeast, 250g water, 25-30g olive oil, and 10g salt. Here you see the oil and water, with the bubbly natural yeast and bacteria on the left.
Adding the flour to the water, oil, and yeast. Raising the yeast is not unlike having a pet, and we can talk about it later. The swirly metal thing is for mixing this stage.

I'd like to share the story of a personal interaction I had Alan Bean, Apollo Moon-walker and artist. In 2010, I needed more information about something Alan had seen when he was on the Moon. I was researching how rocket exhaust blows soil and dust during lunar landings. /1
2/ The best information on this topic was from Apollo 12, when Pete Conrad and Alan Bean landed their Lunar Module 160 m away from the old Surveyor 3 ("S3") spacecraft. S3 had sat on the Moon deactivated for about 2 and a half years exposed to the lunar environment.
3/ The Ap12 mission was planned to land near S3 to (1) demonstrate precision landing and (2) to cut pieces off S3 and bring them back to Earth to see how the lunar environment degrades various types of materials and spacecraft parts.
