1) Awhile ago, I did a thread on proxy attackers. The recent news about the Concord vs Mueller team court wranglings makes me realize that I should probably revisit this topic for a second, if only to reveal how absolutely idiotic Muh Russia is.
2) Putin is someone else that Machiavelli would consider a decent Prince but a weak ruler. See, Putin has developed a ring of oligarchs who have the money and independence to act as proxy attackers for Putin.
3) That he has to rely on proxy attackers as opposed to his own might makes him weak, but when his navy's pride and joy is a diesel powered aircraft carrier that can't even safely handle aircraft landing on it, well, sometimes you just have to make do.
4) The proxy attacker of note today, Putin's chef, Prigozhin. Owner of bith the Wagner Group, aka the mercenaries we sent to hell in a handbasket over in Syria, and the Concord companies tied up in Putin's probe. They're deeply tied together. uawire.org/wagner-group-c…
5) Said Concord companies are, of course, charged with funding the Russian group known as the Internet Research Agency to shitpost on US social media posing as politically active Americans.
6) THIS is where I'm getting into some theorizing and hypothesizing. Hold onto your butts.
7) I do not doubt the Internet Research Agency was acting as a proxy of Putin in the US elections. What I disagree with, however, was this notion that they were boosting Trump.
8) I doubt this because of how quickly these same proxies flipped to attacking Trump AFTER the election. politico.com/story/2017/10/…
9) Call it a logical model, call it the search for a simpler explanation, call it anything. Here's all that I think happened with the Russians in regards to the 2016 election, operating off my logical model of Proxy Attackers.
10) Russia thought Hillary Clinton was going to win.
11) Russia's proxies were attacking Hillary Clinton and spreading as much shit as possible about her because Putin wanted Hillary Clinton to be tied up in scandals, investigations, and legislative gridlock as president exactly like Obama's second term went.
12) Its the same basic strategery I always talk about. Take Putin's seat for a second and think about it. You've just had a massive expansion in power and influence because Obama's second term was a textbook example of a lame duck
13) Hillary Clinton, according to the US media, is looking to be a sure thing. Russia wants to maintain the power and influence gain, and so, they began attacking immediately to make her election as divisive and bitter as possible.
14) If she had won, the entire conservative half of the country would have been screaming for blood and justice the entire time. Don't deny it, we would have. And Clinton and the Democrats would have pushed back just as hard locking the entire nation in a political power struggle
15) For Russia, whose power DEPENDS on the US staying uninvolved and locked in inaction, that would be ideal. So of COURSE they would set up proxies to attack Hillary Clinton.
16) Here's the best part: I totally believe the US IC and Obama knew the Russians were doing this, and I believe them when they say they didn't do anything because they thought Hillary would win too. They probably did somethibg similar on a smaller scale in 2012.
17) But then Trump won, and the proxy attacks flipped from Clinton to attacking Trump and stoking Racial and 2A fights between the US populace.
18) That brings me to the court case. What in the hell is Russia doing? Why are the arguments by Concord's lawyers doing everything BUT disputing Mueller's claims?
19) Think about the post-election ads. The goal wasn't for one side to win, but to perpetuate arguments and divisions within the US.
20) Every time a Democrat unfriends a Republican, Russia scores a victory. Every time we have to block some idiot liberal, Russia scores a win. Russia WANTS us fighting and arguing with each other so the Democrats' base demand their politicians keep stonewalling everything.
21) The surprise lawyers who showed up for Concord are PERPETUATING Muh Russia by generating headlines and absurdity to keep politicial extremes on both sides focused on it. ANOTHER distraction for us to argue over.
22) Every quoted line, every absurd remark is supposed to make Dems scream "The Russians are lying!" and GOP to say "Mueller's lost all control!"
23) 23) Putin created the ultimate little win-win for himself. If Hillary won, we'd be trying to impeach her every freaking day. When Trump won, the Democrats did Russia's work for them by creating Muh Russia out of hastily written self-contradictory memos and facebook ads.
24) And you can bet that a lot of assholes running around on social media right now are Internet Research Agency spin-offs PERPETUATING the Muh Russia idiocy. They won't make people change sides, they were never MEANT to persuade anyone at any point in their activities.
25) Just for Putin to attack us, the American people, by proxy and keep us yelling past each other fucking endlessly. /end
