Telling black NFL players to leave the country. Calling undocumented immigrants “animals.” Banning Muslims from the US. Attacking Chicago for gun violence.
He knows that fear + division feeds his base of white voters.

Trump’s never cared about policy. His entire career he’s used culture to build his divisive, bigoted platform he is now enforcing in America. From the Central Park 5 to Obama’s birth certificate, before he stepped foot in the Oval Office, he was using culture to build his power.
I have personally witnessed his racism, his homophobia, his Islamophobia, his anti-Semitism and for sure his sexism. His nastiness is no secret to anyone who has spent any time with him throughout his career. Sadly I had to be around him a few times. He is a vicious human being.
The way to win this culture war against Trump is to vigorously fight back with a full commitment to the values of our nation. Don’t waver because you disagree with someone’s politics or position.

The culture war Trump wants to create is intended to divide us with fear and the perception that he loves America more than us. Which is complete, utter trash.

The danger in all of this, and Donald knows this well, is that if he wins the culture war, he can push through any of his vicious, bigoted policies that ultimately will make him and his corrupted friends richer and more powerful.
That’s all he cares about. His greed drives him.

Let us look back at this horrific period of American history, and be proud that we fought back against Trump’s bigoted culture war and re-built a nation rooted in compassion, generosity, equity and justice.
